Lower and higher primary school at Simanya, Nkurenkuru and Rupara; Junior Secondary school at Rundu Secondary School(1967-69); Diploma in Theological Seminary of the United Evangelical Lutheran Churches in Namibia (1973); Master’s Degree in Theology at the Evangelical Lutheran Theological Seminary, in Gettysburgh, Pennsylvania (1976-1979); Diploma in Spanish language at a Centre for Foreign Language and Computer for Foreigners at “Jose Marti” Institute, Havana, Cuba; Diploma in China in “Understanding Modern China Program’ Foreign Affairs College of China, 2001, 2003.
Career

Teacher at Nkurenkuru Lower Primary School (1966); Pastor (1973-76); Part- time Pastor at St. James Lutheran Church/Parish in Gettysburgh, USA (1976 – 1979). Principal Managing Director at Kavango Bible School of ELCIN, Kavango Deanery, Nkurenkuru (1980-1990); Various church committees, Executive Church Council of ELCIN, organ church bodies such as: Executive committees of Church Council of Namibia and Southern African Lutheran Churches; Attended as a member of delegations of International Church bodies conferences, such as the Seventh Lutheran World Assembly in Budapest, Hungary (1983), the International Conference of World Evangelism in Durban, South Africa (early 1970s).

Award of medals

    • • While a diplomat in Cuba he was awarded a Merit Award “Order of Dr. Martin Luther” on 28 May 1999 the highest merit order of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cuba. It was for his spiritual activities in the church during his diplomatic duties in that country.
    • • The Most Distinguished Order of Namibia: Fifth Class, was conferred upon him on 26 August 2014 by His Excellency Dr. Hifikepunye Lukas Pohamba, Second President of the Republic of Namibia.
