Windhoek - National Council Chairperson, Hon. Lukas Muha received the first of two doses of the Sinopharm vaccine against Covid 19 at the Windhoek Central Hospital yesterday, 21 April 2021.

Hon. Muha stated that as a leader, it is his responsibility to lead through action and by example. “I feel that most Namibians will follow suit. We have lost many people to the virus, and so it is time that we protect ourselves and this is the right thing to do”, said Muha.

In his brief message, the Chairperson called on Namibians to come out in big numbers. “People should not fear, unofficial information from the corridors is not correct. We must follow the official information as it comes from the centre”, Muha further stated.

The Chairperson further promised to engage and encourage other Members of Parliament who are yet to take the jab to do the same.

After receiving his vaccination, Hon. Muha expressed that he felt just fine, and that he was proud of himself for voluntarily rising to the occasion.
