Family, friends and colleagues of the late Protasius Nambudhi descended upon the Corpus Christ Roman Catholic Church in Windhoek yesterday, 8 June 2022 to pay their respects to the late Nambudhi, who passed away on Friday, 3 June 2022 in a tragic car accident.
Speaking on behalf of the National Council, the Administrative Head, Adv. Tousy Namiseb shared with the mourners that Protasius was a loyal and dedicated staff member of the National Council, who worked diligently. “He was someone who put the National Council before himself, as he was always the first to enter and the last to leave…we as the National Council and as Parliament as a whole have truly lost a remarkable person”, Namiseb said, while accompanied by staff members.
Nambudhi joined the National Council in March 2021 as a Security Operations Officer, a position he held until his untimely passing. He will be laid to rest this Saturday, 11 June 2022 at Okapika village in the Ruacana constituency of Omusati region.
