The Chairperson of the National Council, Hon. Lukas Muha, had the honor of receiving a courtesy call from the Student Representative Council (SRC) of the Durban University of Technology (DUT).

During the meeting, Hon. Muha provided a detailed overview of the mandate of the Parliament of Namibia and shared significant insights into the enduring relationship between Namibia and South Africa. He also encouraged the students to actively engage in leadership and governance roles within Africa.

The delegation from DUT was accompanied by Dr. Marius Kudumo, Director of Corporate Engagement and International Relations at the University of Namibia (UNAM), and Twapewa-Ashihe Mungoba, President of UNAM’s SRC. The DUT SRC is visiting Namibia as part of an exchange program with UNAM.

Hon. Muha was joined in this meeting by Adv. Tousy Namiseb, Secretary to the National Council.
