The sixth session of the Children’s Parliament is officially opened today by the President of the Republic of Namibia, H.E. Dr. Nangolo Mbumba.Hon. Jane Phiri from Hardap Region and Hon. Michael Ajiboso from Kavango East were elected as Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the 6th session of the Children’s Parliament respectively. The Children’s Parliament is a platform that facilitates the participation of young people in the democratic process.
It is an initiative of the Namibian Parliament in partnership with the Unicef Namibia.
